Positive peer pressure is setting a positive goal for yourself, choosing to be around the right crowd and avoiding factors that can possibly bring you down. For instance, In The Pact three devoting men, Sam, George and Rameck all face these challenges. Their motives were to fulfill their dreams as doctors. Encouraging each other, competing and supporting they were able to bypass all the hardships and succeed. Although there is positive peer pressure there are always negatives that cause a huge impact upon our lives. For example, having to face arguing parents every day, being called names, and worst keeping everything to yourself, acting as if you’re okay. It’s hard to open up sometimes but, when you did it’ll be worth it you’ll be around the people who inspire you for the better. You’ll not only find friends along the way but what you’ll become one day.

positive peer pressure is when someone is pressuring you into doing the right thing in life. For instance people who pressure you into doing good in school, not doing drugs, not selling drugs, and doing right and staying away from the wrong. George Sam and Rameck had positive influences on each other the all positively peer pressured each other into becoming doctors and staying out the street. The positive peer pressure i faced was staying in school, focusing on my work and basketball.
Sam,George, and Rameck all pretty much went threw all of the similar sorts of negative peer pressure. Growing up in the ghetto and public housing projects gave them direct and up close reactions with all of the drug dealers and gangsters that tried and tried to ruin there dreams by making them feel bad for not following there other friends into the wrong path. But they also experienced some positive peer pressure such as when the dentist quizes George on all his tools and gives him the curiositity of one day becoming a dentist. Through out your life you will always have peer pressure from friends and sometimes even family members you just need to think to yourself if you can benefit from it and is it the right thing to do.

Some of the peer pressures all of the boys face are drugs, violence, and drinking. They are faced with this because of the environment they are raised in, by parents, and also to be accepted by friends. Some positive peer pressure for the boys is their schools, that are always eager for them to succeed, and also how the karate instructor was a clean and honorable person and no one messed with him because of that. i don't really have a ton of peer pressure in my life, the only thing that i was ever pressured into was drinking.

Positive Peer Pressure is when you set your limits higher and set a goal for yourself.
